Tarrant County College on the Trinity River East Campus

The Allied Health Program has a two-year course of study with sixty-four hours for Radiologic Technology. The students will be taught Clinical Practice. There is an AART Clinical Competency Checklist that must be completed. The student will be eligible to take the American Registry of Radiology Technologists or the AART exam. The Radiologic Technology, A.A.S degree will be awarded.

Remington College

The school was awarded “School of the Year Honors” by the National Association of Health Professionals in 2011. The Specialized Medical Assistant program was launched in 2008 and was named the “Medical Assistant with Limited Scope X-ray Training” in DFW, Texas.

The school holds the accreditation of the Southern Association of Colleges or SACS and the Schools Commission on Colleges or COC. The HEALTH PROFESSIONS TECHNOLOGY BAT-HPT is a four-year program. The Allied Health Practitioner must hold an Associate’s Degree. They must have a Registered Radiology Technologist or the AAS Radiologic Technology

The College of Health Care Professions

The institution is Regulated and Approved by the Texas Workforce Commission’s Career Schools and Colleges Division and the Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools or ABHES.
The College of Health Care Professions in Fort Worth offers an Associates and Bachelors Degree program. Students are eligible for these programs if they hold a Texas License and Limited Radiology Certification. The Associate Degree in Radiologic Technology or RT can be studied “Online” after completing the 64-week course. The Bachelors Degree “Online” program is eighty-eight weeks.
